Proper Fitment

Proper fit of your e-collar receiver is critical to successful communication between you and your dog.

Tips for proper fitment:

  • The collar receiver should be placed on the left or right side of your dogs neck anywhere between the trachea and spine.

  • The collar strap should be a two flat finger snug fit, if properlu tightened your receiver will not move from its starting location. If you attempt to place your finger under the contact points of your receiver it should create pressure into your finger.

  • Rotate your collar from one side of the neck to the other every 3-4 hours.

  • Dogs should have their e-collar on anytime you are awake, with your dog, and can ask them to complete a command.

  • DO NOT attach a leash to the d-ring on your receiver strap.
